Founders Day – The culmination of faith and dedication

Today, two very exciting things have happened. First, Universal Data, Inc. and PhyleTec LLC, end phase I and the birth of phase II of the PhyleTec Community dream! For seven years, PhyleTec On-Demand was a dream that had preoccupied the hearts and minds of every past and present employee. The dream that one day it would have the strength of soul and functionality to stand on its own merits, that it would become its own entity, growing and developing into a means to help business manage internal processes as well as their supply chain – a dream that went beyond developing a new software package but something far more visionary – a place where business could be conducted effortlessly and enjoyably beyond the traditional "four walls". We wanted PhyleTec to be a means by which individuals that sit in tiny office spaces could be unshackled and provide greater value anywhere. Today we see the results of their relentless pursuit of that dream in PhyleTec On-Demand. PhyleTec On-Demand is a web 2.0, Enterprise Execution System built for the next generation of B2B and B2C.
As we begin this new journey we are fortunate to have a core of PhyleTec community members that have put up with an enormous number of "issues". One company in particular that has the personal thanks of everyone at PhyleTec On-Demand is Woodland Paper. Bob Sauer, President, and Andy McLaughlin Vice President, took a chance on us as one of the first members of the PhyleTec Community (of course we hadn't come up with that term yet). They joined at a time when we didn't even have a financial management system and all we could do is talk about these exciting future "things." Along with the birth of phase II we start the next evolution of the PhyleTec On-Demand corporate structure.
The next evolution of PhyleTec On-Demand is the creation of PhyleTec L.L.C. This new corporate entity will be the member facing entity behind PhyleTec On-Demand. PhyleTec L.L.C. will continue to have a relationship with Universal Data, Inc. while giving complete autonomy to the PhyleTec Team and PhyleTec Community. This move will allow PhyleTec L.L.C. to focus on its core competencies, increasing end-users' productivity and fun factor. This new entity is critical in order to achieve the external vision of PhyleTec. The PhyleTec Team believes it has to walk the walk before is should talk the talk. Therefore, the PhyleTec Team is currently looking for a new facility to walk the walk. It's for these reasons, from this time forth; December 12, 2007 will be a PhyleTec Community holiday, called FOUNDERS DAY. Founders Day will be a time to say thank you to all the people that helped, and continue to help make this dream a reality: PhyleTec Community members, vendors, consultants, family members, and the individuals that make up the PhyleTec Team.
The next quarter will bring about an increased enthusiasm (possibly because of the new dress code, or should I say "the elimination of the corporate dress code"), that will translate to a more creative, enthusiastic environment for the evolution of PhyleTec On-Demand. And if the past is any indication of the future, it will continue to be a trip worth taking as we expand PhyleTec On-Demand's Community functionality and market share.
